Masterclass - Keeping students motivated and engaged in Dance- Saturday 8th January

A rare opportunity for the teachers of Indian classical dance style to learn motivational strategies on how to keep students engaged and motivated in the class. This will be an online interactive workshop.
The workshop will be led by the renowned Kathak teacher and choreographer, Sujata Banerjee, MBE. Sujata has a unique pedagogy. Participating teachers will also watch a live class led by Sujata Banerjee.

Masterclass - Kathak improvisation techniques with Sujata Banerjee MBE - 5th December

A unique opportunity for senior Kathak dancers to learn from teacher & choreographer Sujata Banerjee, MBE.
​
Improvisation is an important part of any dance training. In Kathak rhythmic interplay is one of the most exciting part of dancing. Although it is called improvisation but there is a also a technique to it.
In this masterclass session Sujata will share various ways of approaching the improvisation, whether it is Nritta or Nritya.
