Hemantika Festival 2022: An Indian classical Dance Festival

SBDC's much-anticipated Hemantika Dance Festival is back for 2022 (6 November- 20 November).
Hemantika is now a mainstay of the UK dance calendar and one of the most well-regarded dance festivals in South Asian Dance. The festival is well-established and has been running since 2016.
The festival always features unique collaborations between dance styles, students and renowned dancers from all over the world.
This year's overarching theme is Journey. Through various dance presentations, the multifaceted nature of journeys will be explored – whether they are historical facts, physical, emotional or spiritual. Every journey manifests itself in different ways and carries with it a multitude of experiences for everyone involved.
