Storytelling thorough kathak
We have a longstanding relation with St Cuthbert's Church and since 2023, we have reached to their Memory Café project which is with the Dementia group. An afternoon of workshops and performances

We continue our festival on event Day 2, presenting free performance and workshop along with intermediate level masterclass and abhinaya workshop with Sujata Banerjee, MBE.

The festival will continue with celebration of dance featuring Aakash Odedra, Shambhavi Dandekar, ClimArts and over 150 dancers from SBDC academy . Also presenting a ground-braking extract of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, through the lens of Kathak, accompanied by Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Journey of Kathak - An immersive experience
​
This unique event is curated with considerable research, love and respect for the extraordinary artform - Kathak.
​
The audience will be on a journey, from one floor to the others of Shishukunj, discovering the history and the evolution of the form through multi-sensory and truly immersive experience.
We will have two shows; 3pm and 5pm. Each show will last for approximately 80 minutes. Audience, for each show, will enter in smaller groups for the specific booked time.
Please note the stairs are also part of our journey and story, chairs may be available but watching performances will mainly be standing. The lift will only be available for elderly and wheelchair users.
